I am Minseong Kim. I am a motion designer, graphic designer, and photographer based in Chicago, IL. I am currently pursuing a BFA in Visual Communication with an emphasis in Motion Design and FVNMA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I began my creative journey through 2D motion graphics, which naturally led me to explore graphic design. Over time, I also developed a strong interest in photography as a personal hobby. I enjoy using all of these skills together in my work. For example, I often combine my photography and graphic design skills to create visual projects like magazine posters. I believe that bringing different perspectives together helps me create work that feels unique and personal.

I always enjoy learning new things and finding new ways to grow. I like understanding what people are interested in and figuring out how to capture their attention through design. Because of this, I also have a strong interest in marketing and business. I see design as more than just creating visuals. It is also about communicating with people and making meaningful connections. I enjoy challenging myself to use my different skills in new ways and find fresh ideas that bring design and storytelling together.
